The locals clearly know and respect him, and that respect extended to us in ways we didn’t expect but really appreciated. On top of all that, he knows where to find truly the best photos, better than you’d dream of. And the best Egyptian food! Everything was clear, transparently priced, and flexible. No pressure, just good energy. He’s also an amazing storyteller. He brought ancient Egypt to life in a way that felt personal and relevant, with connections to world history that made us see things differently.
