Sorcha delivered a family friendly tour that engaged and entertained both us and our 9 and 11 year old sons! We love history and Sorcha delivered even the more gruesome and sensitive of London’s varied history in an age appropriate and informative way. She also scheduled in excellent breaks for snacks that ensured my jet lagged boys didn’t get (too) whiney on the ~5 miles we ended up covering. Sorcha’s knowledge of the landmarks, hidden gems, and the stories behind them, as well as her helpful tips for after the tour ensured a wonderful first day in the city!
Two words to describe Chris's tour " oh wow"! Chris will take you " behind the scenes " of London and show you things of interest with some great storytelling to go with it! Chris is knowledgeable and personable. If you are looking for a great tour of London..Chris is your guide!
We had an unforgettable walking tour of London’s 60s rock history with our fantastic guide, Tom. His passion and deep knowledge of the era brought every stop to life, from legendary venues to tucked-away gems you’d never find on your own. We explored iconic locations like Ronnie Scott’s jazz club, the building where both Handel and Jimi Hendrix lived (talk about worlds colliding!), and the art store where Yoko Ono first met John Lennon. Standing outside the former Apple Records studio and visiting the home of Paul McCartney added even more depth and context to the stories of that revolutionary time. Of course, no rock history tour would be complete without Abbey Road—and yes, we walked across that famous crosswalk and visited the studio itself. It felt surreal retracing the footsteps of legends. His knowledge of The Who, Beatles, Hendrix, etc was fantastic and how it all collided within the streets and burrows of London. Be scampered through the posh areas, seeing Fabergé eggs selling for $1,000’s to an area where someone threw out Yonko’s art thinking it was trash. Tom’s storytelling made it all so vivid—he connected the dots between places, people, and moments that shaped not just London, but music history itself. Whether you're a lifelong fan or just curious about the era, this tour is a total highlight.
We were in London for a short time, and our tour with Chris was the perfect way to get acquainted with both historical and modern London in just a couple hours. Chris was not only friendly and engaging, but truly a wealth of knowledge about history and life in London. He was also flexible to ensure our tour fit in a pretty compact day of dining and other activities. Our tour with Chris was the highlight of our short time in London and we'd highly recommend him to any future visitors. Thank you Chris!
