Had a great evening with Evita, and unlike a food tour, where you go to the same spots, here we tried different dishes at home, had a fantastic conversation and 3hrs passed very quickly. We loved the variety of food, and also agreed to join other guests (as a private experience was not available on the dates, she doesn't host more than 4-5 people) so it was like meeting new travelers and really getting to know the culture, food and life there. We even got recommendations on where to go and what to do for the rest of our time in Tallinn. Sure you can go to a restaurant, but you won't get the true vibe I think. Must do!
My friend and I had a lovely dinner with Evita. What a great way to learn about local food and meet new people! It was such a fun, wide variety of food that made it easy to sample a little of everything! We appreciated being contacted ahead of time for our likes/dislikes. Lots of opportunity for conversation in a laid back setting. We felt so comfortable. It really did feel like sharing a meal with friends. 100% recommended.
I booked this experience for my group of 6 travellers and we all agreed that this was the highlight of our trip to the Baltics! Evita treated us to an absolutely delicious exploration of traditional Baltic food and drink. The dining experience was cozy and inviting and we enjoyed good conversation and making new friends. I highly recommend this as an addition to your visit to Tallinn! We also found that her experience has 70+ 5 star reviews on another experience site. She deserved every one of them. Do note, this is a home dinner where you get to not only taste and eat local food, but we used it as a way to understand local life and ask questions about the region too.
Fantastic time, can't recommend highly enough. Evita was a wonderful cook and a most gracious host, her partner Farid kept the conversation going (as the rest of us were all strangers at the table, just getting to know each other), and what unfolded was just a really great evening full of amazing (local, authentic) food, drinks, and some newfound friends. If you find yourself in Tallinn and looking for a quality din with great people, this one's a must. 5 stars.
