Highly recommend Janaina

We had a wonderful afternoon with Janaina. She showed us many points of interest and taught us much history of Dijon. Her personality and manner are delightful. I strongly recommend her without hesitation.

A day with a new friend

We were celebrating our anniversary and decided to take a private guide as a treat. The hidden gems of Dijon was a perfect introduction to the city by a guide who loved her town. It was a splendid trip as our UK friends say and we recommend choosing Janaina!

A truly local experience

Being with Christelle feels like you are hanging out with your old friend that happens to be from Dijon, and you are visiting her. Rather than give you only facts, Christelle shares personal stories and gives the perspective of what it’s really like to be from Dijon. Her knowledge of food and history are top notch. The cheese board was our favorite, filled with different kinds of Burgundy cheeses. We would go again with Christelle any time.

Great experience with local guide

We booked the tour at the very last moment, and it turned out to be an absolutely great idea! Otherwise, we wouldn’t have learned much about Dijon from a culinary perspective — because... it was Monday. We had no idea that most of the interesting places, including restaurants and bars, are closed on Mondays! Fortunately, Christelle turned out to be not only extremely knowledgeable about Dijon and its remarkable place in both French and international cuisine, but also very inventive. Thanks to her, we not only learned a lot of fascinating information but also had the chance to taste some local specialties — the famous pain d'épices, crème de cassis, and of course, moutarde de Dijon. During our walking tour of the town, Christelle showed us some hidden gems, shared fun stories and local legends, and even recommended great places to eat on a Monday — yes, there are still a few good ones open, but you have to know where to look. I definitely recommend the tour with Christelle!
