Imagine this: a scenic road trip from Paris to explore Loire Valley with stops along the way to discover viewpoints, villages, incredible nature, and cultural gems. Sounds like a dream? No, it’s possible on a Withlocals day trip with a local host leading the way!
Travelled to visit chateaux in the Loire Valley by metro, fast train and car with Anukool. Although this is a long day, I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations which helped the travel time fly by. Anukool shared his passion for travel as well as his knowledge of history, the Loire Valley and Paris. As a single traveller, I appreciate a guide who can customize a tour to suit my travel style. We visited three chateaux as planned, touring the interiors of two and the exterior and grounds of a third. We also fit in time to view a fourth chateau. When I visit Paris again, I will be looking forward to doing other tours with Anukool.

Scavenger Hunt with Sophie
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of D’Orsay museum and the scavenger hunt! Sophie came fully prepared and our 9 yr old son was engaged and curious! He found it very fun and learned a lot too. We (parents and grandparents) also enjoyed the hunt. It was a great way to see the museum. I highly recommend this!
