The Brandenburg Gate is one of the most famous landmarks in Berlin, Germany. It is a symbol of the country's division during the Cold War and stands as a symbol of German reunification. The gate is located on the site of a former city gate that was built in the 18th century. It is made of limestone and is adorned with 12 columns that represent the months of the year. The gate is surmounted by a Quadriga, a sculpture of a chariot pulled by four horses. The gate is located at the end of the Unter den Linden, a boulevard that runs through the center of Berlin.
As for me who has been already to Berlin Seth gave me new info background and stories. His knkowlegde as a future PhD historian gave enough food for interesting talks. Michèle was the perfect tour guide! She was friendly, informative, flexible and extremely knowledgeable. She clearly loves Berlin and that comes across with her contagious enthusiasm. Booking with Michèle is simply a must; she's among the best tour guides we've ever worked with!
Seth gave us an amazing tour. He has a deep knowledge of history and our tour was 100% customized. He was prompt, engaging and had a nice sense of humor. We covered a lot of ground in 3 hours.
Elisabetta was outstanding and so much fun to be with. We had some last minute (same day) timing and location changes and she worked with me to be able to maximize our tour and meet our timelines. Saw amazing sites that we would have never found on our own. Highly recommend Elisabetta for a tour, especially if your interested in an artist’s flair.
