The Brandenburg Gate is one of the most famous landmarks in Berlin, Germany. It is a symbol of the country's division during the Cold War and stands as a symbol of German reunification. The gate is located on the site of a former city gate that was built in the 18th century. It is made of limestone and is adorned with 12 columns that represent the months of the year. The gate is surmounted by a Quadriga, a sculpture of a chariot pulled by four horses. The gate is located at the end of the Unter den Linden, a boulevard that runs through the center of Berlin.
Seth gave us an amazing tour. He has a deep knowledge of history and our tour was 100% customized. He was prompt, engaging and had a nice sense of humor. We covered a lot of ground in 3 hours.
Elisabetta was outstanding and so much fun to be with. We had some last minute (same day) timing and location changes and she worked with me to be able to maximize our tour and meet our timelines. Saw amazing sites that we would have never found on our own. Highly recommend Elisabetta for a tour, especially if your interested in an artist’s flair.
Violeta is truly a child of the world, having lived in many places. It gives her a very nice perspective on things and strong opinions. And we loved her for this! Go for it! Opinions matter! On top, she knows very well the history of Berlin which was pleasant She was very flexible and showed us what we wanted in a fun/educative still very personal way. ( yes, we ended up discussing kids and our countries) Don't hesitate to choose her and don't forget to ask about her fluffy cats!
I would highly recommend Natalie as a tour guide. She was so generous in sharing interesting information, helpful advice, and recommendations, which we really appreciated.
