We chose Ioannis as our guide for a food tour in Athens – and what an experience it was! The theme was Greek cuisine, but the tour offered so much more than just flavors. Ioannis shared his deep knowledge of both food culture and history – we especially remember the story about why the Acropolis, despite its name, is not the highest mountain in Athens. Those little insights truly brought the tour to life!
He took us through the meat, fish, and vegetable markets ❤️ and introduced us to amazing local specialists and authentic eateries well off the typical tourist trail. Everything felt genuine, thoughtfully selected, and incredibly tasty.
