A delicant mixture of history, architecture, culture and local food, all woven together by Yorgos astounding ability to tell stories. My little brother, not the type to be fascinated with anything but football was impressed by how much he enjoyed the tour. After the tour we all had a feeling we had gotten to know the city through a perspective that other tourists around us were not able to. Great experience, can recommend Yorgos.

We had the absolute pleasure of touring Athens with Ioannis, and we can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the start, Ioannis made us feel like we were spending the day with a good friend rather than a tour guide. He was so personable, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great time. He took us beyond the typical tourist stops, showing us places around Athens we never would have discovered on our own — each with its own unique story. His knowledge of the city’s history and culture is remarkable, and he shared it all in a way that was engaging and easy to connect with. Our teenage boys especially loved him, and it was clear that Ioannis knew how to keep everyone involved and interested. We truly enjoyed every moment we spent with him and came away with a deeper understanding of Athens — and some great memories too. We highly recommend Ioannis if you’re looking for a guide who’s not only informative but also a pleasure to be around. He made our time in Athens truly special.

Our family had a great time. He knows all the best places to go and has stories about everything. Just enough for a full day of sightseeing without being too much for our 10 year old.

Ioannis took our group of 4 on a five hour tour of Athens. Ioannis was incredible in his knowledge on just about everything Greek-mythology, ancient history, current history, art, food, music, architecture, and politics. He is a genuinely warm and easy going person. We couldn’t have asked for more! I would definitely try to get Ioannis for any of the tours offered.
