Szechenyi Chain Bridge Tours in Hungary

We had a 3-hour walk with Gabor around Budapest and it was amazing. He asked us questions when he first met us to know what we preferred to hear about and throughout the walking tour he would modify his talk based on what we knew and what we still had to learn. It was a perfect morning. We heard about Hungarian history (and the history of all Central Europe) and he gave us specific notes about buildings and restaurants that was very helpful to understand the city. If you want a thoughtful, very articulate, comprehensively bi-lingual (Hungarian/English) tour guide Nicholas is your man. He cares deeply about Hungary, yet he does not shrink from explaining some of the very sad chapters in its complex past. He is simply an excellent guide and a fascinating conversationalist.
