The highlight of our Indonesia trip
The beginning of our trip in Ubud and Gili was far from satisfying, added to that our Ijen trip cancellation due to seismic activity, thank God for these happenstances we stumbled upon the most talented Vonny, with her deep knowledge of Surabayan culture, cuisine and history we had a beautiful time discussing Javanese food, language and the past in the Pasar where she took us grocery shopping while sipping Kopi Tubruk, followed by cooking with the most polite and nicest Warung friends - the Warung chef and his olek-olek grinding skills put food processors to shame. Our tummies were full of delicious food and hearts full of joy, promising to visit her again very soon on our next Indonesia trip.

This was exactly what I was looking for
I found Id after a long search on the internet. I had heard about Malas before and was really curious about the whole philosophy behind it and how it is used. You can buy a Mala in Bali somewhere but I wanted to create my own. Id was the only one that I found who offered this kind of workshop. It was amazing. Id was so sweet, kind and fun. I was able to choose my own pearls and created the Mala the way I wanted to. Id knows a lot about the Mala and loves to share her wisdom. My Mala turned out beautiful.
