I booked this activity as a surprise for the two ladies travelling with me (my wife and my niece). I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect before arriving however once we did, the ladies eyes just lit up. Francesca was so friendly and personable and welcomed us so graciously. The ladies were so happy with the directions and guidance Francesca provided in building and making their own special candles from Italy. Francesca is certainly a master craftsperson in her area of expertise (custom shoe and sandals).
They both said this was by far their best part of of two week trip in Italy. That’s certainly saying something.

We had the lovely Lucia show us around Venice. The kids, aged 9 & 11, put this as a top highlight of the trip.
Lucia was passionate, knowledgable and kept the kids engaged in the 2.5hr tour. We adults also had fun and learnt a bit too.
We added in the mask making activity at they end which they loved and allowed hubby and me to go have a appertivo sans kids - close by, which was also very nice.
Highly recommend.
