The food tour led by Riccardo was fantastic in every way. Not only did Riccardo lead us through the Bologna food markets, sharing tasty treats with us, but, as we walked, he also educated us on the history and art of medieval and Renaissance Bologna, detouring at times through historic streets and buildings to give us a sense of what Bologna was like 500 to 1,000 years ago. The tour was scheduled for 3 hours, but it was actually longer due to our interest. Great guide and host. Couldn't ask for a better afternoon in Bologna and with a better guide.
