Walking Food Tour in Florence

Michele is the most wonderful tour guide. We had him for two tour experiences and this was our first one. He showed us a mixed tour with historical places and the modern Florence. His knowledge and passion for Florence is unsurpassed and was able to answer all our questions. He was engaging and excited to share his beautiful city of Florence with us. We enjoyed the tour immensely and absolutely recommend choosing Michele for this tour.

Michele makes for a perfect host/guide for a tour around Florence. He was able to provide both detailed historical and artistic information about sites as well as personal stories and recommendations for different food/drink spots in the city. Very enjoyable!

My wife and I signed up for the Historical Cafe Hopping: Food, Drinks & History Tour with Michele from 6:00 to 9:00. It was a drizzly night but we barely noticed the rain as Michele regaled us with stories and information about Florence. Occasionally we would stop into a shop and try a local dish. I believe we had coccoli, biscotti, schiacciata and Chianti. Only when the drizzle turned to a downpour did we stop walking and find a dry spot in a piazza. But Michele just kept telling us stories while we waited for the rain to ease up. Our first day in Florence ended perfectly (despite the bad weather) thanks to our wonderful host Michele.

Michele had the dubious honor of guiding my niece and me on our first (jet-lagged) night in Firenze. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable , and I would highly recommend engaging his services.
