Mariagrazia did a wonderful job driving us up and down the coast! She picked us up at our hotel in Sorrento and drove us to Positano, Amafi and Ravello. She is very knowledgeable, sharing history, culture and fun facts about each city. She gave us time to wander in Positano and Ravello. We stopped at a lovely pottery store and had lunch at a friend's restaurant. We didn't really have anything specific we were wanting to see or do, but I know she will customize for you if you have something in mind. I'm so glad she was driving-the roads/drivers are crazy compared to in the US. Would highly recommend Mariagrazia as a guide!

We had a wonderful and relaxing day with Rita, seeing the medieval villages of Montesarchio and Sant'Agate dei Goti. It was great to get out of the city and see the countryside and villages that we certainly wouldn't have found on our own. She took us to a wonderful lunch overlooking the Taburno mountain in between the stops, making for a nice, relaxing pace. Rita has excellent English and is a wealth of knowledge on local history as well as places to visit, eat, and drink, giving us some good suggestions for our evening back in Naples. It was also a great experience to get to know a bit about Rita and her family. We felt like we were spending the day with a local friend. Thank you, Rita!

Mariagrazia was the best guide! We were originally supposed to see the Amalfi Coast with her in March 2020 when COVID hit. Mariagrazia and Withlocals were extremely accommodating as COVID and our travel plans continued to evolve. We can’t say enough how much we appreciated their flexibility. Once we finally got to see Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello with Mariagrazia, it was absolutely worth the wait. We spent the entire day with her. She customized the tour to our interests, giving us more time to explore the towns and buildings that really interested us, while filling us in about the history and legends of everything that we were seeing, with obligatory stops for photos along the way. She also recommended a fantastic lunch spot - delicious! At this point, we had already been to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, but the day was only half over. We continued on to visit the town of Amalfi by foot, stopping at two places for dessert. Finally, we took the long way back for even more amazing photo opportunities. You’ll read that driving the Amalfi Coast is not for the faint of heart; it’s definitely NOT. Mariagrazia was an incredible driver. We don’t know how she did it, while keeping us informed, getting us to everything that we wanted to see, and giving us a full day that we’ll never forget. Save yourself from the stress of driving. We had the most amazing time with our now dear friend Mariagrazia! She was extremely knowledgeable of each city and its history, foods, shopping and activities. She was personable, kind and funny. We learned all about the history & sights to see of Sorrento, Amalfi & Raffello. I highly encourage anyone interested in a private tour to ask for her availability. She was amazing!
