Off The Beaten Path in Naples

We had a wonderful and relaxing day with Rita, seeing the medieval villages of Montesarchio and Sant'Agate dei Goti. It was great to get out of the city and see the countryside and villages that we certainly wouldn't have found on our own. She took us to a wonderful lunch overlooking the Taburno mountain in between the stops, making for a nice, relaxing pace. Rita has excellent English and is a wealth of knowledge on local history as well as places to visit, eat, and drink, giving us some good suggestions for our evening back in Naples. It was also a great experience to get to know a bit about Rita and her family. We felt like we were spending the day with a local friend. Thank you, Rita!

I had a great time with Rita outside neapels. She is a smart and interesting person and we had great conversations during our trip. There was enough time for me to take my photos and enjoy the beauty of the villages. At the end we even had a small break for coffee and cake. Thanks very much for the great day Rita!

My husband and I spent a wonderful day with Rita visiting two small, quiet villages in the hills around Naples. Quite a change from the busy, noisy atmosphere of Naples. Rita is a good driver and has a comfortable car. She picked us up and returned us to our apartment which made everything so easy. We had coffee in the town square, a lovely lunch in a shady garden and a cool drink on a nice balcony overlooking a green valley. Rita is a lively, charming person and made our tour fun. If you are looking for something different outside of Naples we highly recommend this tour with Rita.

We are so happy to have booked the Medieval Villages Day Trip with Rita! She provided an amazing opportunity for us to see a part of Italy we would not have been able to experience on our own. She picked us up at the port in a comfortable vehicle, and whisked us away for a day of adventure. We loved exploring the two villages with her - one with a medieval castle and museum, and the other with a really interesting church - and neither with even a hint of other tourists nearby! Both villages were like visiting a storybook and being inside your very own fairy tale - with beautiful scenes around each corner and gorgeous views of the Campagna region. The lunch stop was phenomenal as well - perhaps one of the best meals we experienced during our two weeks in Italy. She was such a great conversationalist and guide - it felt like we met up with an old friend for a day of exploring. We absolutely recommend this experience to other travelers who want to see something different and get beyond all the typical tourist sites. Gratzie mille, Rita!!
