Dario nailed it with a wonderful tasting experience. Leading us through food markets, to an outdoor BBQ and unique cafe's. We enjoyed learning about the life and history of Palermo through the eyes of a resident. If desired, Dario will share some daring food choices unique to this region, which we greatly appreciated.
Aurora is a very pleasant person and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the fascinating history of Palermo. Thank you
We are a group of ageing siblings who, once a year, travel together to an European city to experience the history, culture and definitely food. We have used WithLocals in Rome, Athens, Istanbul and Naples and so we asked Luca to guide us round Palermo for a day and a half guided tour of the main sites and hidden gens, including great food. Luca was perfect! His knowledge, choice of sites to visit (including food!), his enthusiasm and love of Palermo, plus being an excellent, interesting and funny guide. We could not have wished for a better, happier introduction to Palermo, its history, culture and food - including some amazing icecream brioche rolls! We even had full storms, thunder. lightening and a lot of rain one day, but that did not dimish Luca's interaction and we didn't even notice how wet we got because it was still a fabulous experience. We would all highly recommend Luca and if we come back to Palermo, which we hope to do, will definitely book Luca again. Thank you Luca!
Dario was a great host, warm and friendly. He was very knowledgeable and took us to the places we would not have found on our own. The tour was at a great pace, nice and relaxed but we saw (and ate) a lot. The food was all local and very diverse; it was great to try so many things we would not normally have eaten. Full Credit to Dario - we would definitely recommend!
