Fun, friendly ands she KNOWS Palermo!
Had a fantastic, well rounded tour with Karolina yesterday. We gleaned many insights to this Beautiful city. Today we visited many of her recommended places “not to miss.” She steered us to a lovely seaside restaurant as our tour ended. Beautiful setting…view of the sea and great food. My tour of the Kalsa quarter with Salvatore was perfecto! I have been to Palermo many times and feel I am a bit more knowledgeable than the average tourist about the history of Palermo and Sicily. Yet this was my first time exploring Kalsa. You can tell Salvatore has a passion for his city and was very knowledgeable about the area we walked through. I was able to learn many new things about the history of the Kalsa and have a list of places to go back and explore on my own. I recommend this tour with Salvatore if you want to get away from the crush of the main Palermo sights and see a side that the locals experience, while learning how the city developed and expanded throughout the centuries.
