Perfect shore excursion

We very highly recommend this tour. Francesca is a very lovely and very knowledgeable guide. She knows a lot about the city and for us it was the perfect shore excursion.

A taste of Pisa

Right from the beginning, Emma introduced us to the charm of the locals in Pisa. We tasted different wines, cheeses, drinks and other foods along the way while learning the history of Pisa. We travelled off the beaten path and were able to see the true beauty of this Tuscany city.

What A Time!

We had a wonderful time in Italy, but without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip was the tour with Emma. Her food tour was not only steeped with Italian history and lessons in the language, but also on the local culture. Emma went above + beyond to personalize the experience based on our interests and preferences. It was a thoughtful tour through the citys culinary “landscape”, with a perfect balance of sweet + savory, w/ wine tasting, and visits to hidden gems we never would have found on our own. Yay! Emma herself was a delight— she was outgoing, friendly, and effortlessly funny. She exudes a charm that is distinctly Italian, blending warmth + wit in a way that made us feel immediately at ease. Her humor was infectious, and her passion for sharing the local food and culture left us wanting more. It wasn’t just a tour; it felt like we were exploring with a friend; really!

Well worth it

Our tour of Livorno highlights with Francesca was absolutely wonderful. Francesca was welcoming from the outset and gave us a wonderful tour of her city. She made adjustments to our mobility needs easily and without fuss. She took us on a chronological history tour sharing interesting facts and sites going back through the ages. There was a wonderful balance of historical facts and anecdotes, all told with an infectious enthusiasm that drew you in wanting to know more. We finished our tour at the market where Francesca assisted us in finding a local eatery for lunch ensuring we were helped by the wait staff by speaking with them on our behalf (note to self - learn some Italian)!
