The Pantheon is one of the most fascinating and unique buildings in all of Rome. It was originally built as a temple to all the gods of ancient Rome, and it is one of the best-preserved buildings from that era. The Pantheon is now a church, and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Rome. The Pantheon is made of concrete and brick, and it is one of the largest unreinforced concrete domes in the world. The dome is 143 feet in diameter and it is topped with a hole in the center that is 27 feet wide. This hole allows sunlight to enter the building and illuminates the interior. The Pantheon is surrounded by a portico with Corinthian columns that is 60 feet wide and 7 feet deep. The Pantheon is a truly awe-inspiring sight, and it is a must-see for anyone visiting Rome.
We were delighted to spend time walking around with Daniele. He was kind enough to meet us in our hotel which was a bit away from the usual areas. We went into churches that we would definitely have missed without him. We also caught the changing of the guard at the presidential palace and had a nice beer and a chat in a rooftop bar. Daniele gave us some tips on some other things to see while we were in Rome which were really useful. We highly recommend Daniele as a guide.
A very informative and fun way to wander around Rome with a wonderfully experienced tour guide, many thanks Francesca
We had a fantastic time exploring Rome with Simone as our private guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating insights about the city’s history. The tour was both informative and engaging, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Simone was extremely friendly, polite, and easy to get along with. At the end of the tour, he also gave us some great tips for the rest of our stay, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!
Simone did a great job showing us around and sharing tips and tricks as the locals live. This was our second time to Rome, and everything he showed us was new to us. It was just what we wanted! Highly recommend!!
