Private Pompei Day Trips in Rome

If you would like an enjoyable and knowledgeable guide through Pompeii, I highly recommend Roberto. He is a weath of knowledge about the entire area and the site! Weeks before our arrival he guided us on our journey from Rome to Pompeii with the purchase of our train tickets, once we were in Pompeii, he met us at the train station and showed us local places of interest and places to grab a bite along the way. Once we arrived at the site he filled us in on the history and was full of information from ancient times, until modern day and the continuation of the excavation. Such a wonderful guide.

Roberto was fantastic with our group of 10 ranging from 10 years old to 70 years old. His communication was great and he was easy to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Pompeii and history. He helped arrange transportation and helped make lunch reservations in Naples. He even showed us a taxi stand to get back to the train station. We did a day trip from Rome and everything went smoothly. Thank you for a memorable day.

My teenage daughter and I met Roberto at Pompeii. He helped arrange a roundtrip ride from the Naples train station to meet him at the gate of Pompeii. We walked around the site and saw the major points, but somehow felt at times like we were by ourselves in a very busy site. Roberto was engaging and knowledgable.
