Nicola was the perfect guide: smart, engaging, knowledgeable, and fun. My students and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Stopping for refreshing cold clear water from the city’s water fountains was so fun. The cemetery was hauntingly beautiful. Ending at a local food market for lunch was the perfect final touch. Nicola guided us through Testaccio for 2.5 hours and told us lots of interesting stories. From the Roman origins to the contemporary alternative scene of the neighbourhood. The visit to the "Cimitero Accatolico", a very suggestive small cemetery with graves of famous people like John Keats, Andrea Camilleri and Goethe's son, was a successful conclusion. We would do a guided tour with Nicola again any time.
