Personalized city tours with local hosts.
Learn about their personal stories, and find out how you can explore Rome together
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Roman history. I particularly appreciated the explanation of the origins of the city and the development and planning of the city through time. He was able to achieve this thanks to the fact that he will drive you around, especially on the several hills surrounding the city, where you can get a clear understanding of the development through the years. The tour was custom made according to our requests, and he also added lots of insider facts and locations which are not shown on general tours. The whole experience is very comfortable, and you will most probably also stop for a coffee or have small bite at some local not touristy place. I highly recommend this tour.
We spent a whole day together with the friendly Matteo. We started the day at a hidden gem of a café in Rome, then drove to Lago di Bracciano before arriving in the charming village of Calcata. Matteo was knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the places we visited and about Rome in general. We had an exquisite lunch at IL Guazzabuglio. Before heading back to Rome, we visited the tearoom La Sala, which boasts 101 types of tea and over 500 teapots. Thank you so much, Matteo, for an unforgettable day. But be warned—if you don’t like cats, Calcata is teeming with them!
We had a fantastic afternoon with Alessandro and the cinquecento! It was informative, entertaining, quirky and tailored around us. Alessandro’s knowledge shone through and his style was informal and informative. We managed to squeeze in to the 1969 cinquecento even though we’re 1.8m and 1.9m tall!! Highly recommend!!
Absolutely fantastic! As we were in Rome allready more than a week and allready saw all the main highlights, we asked Allesandro for a tour through his eyes. And it was a great choice! We saw a lot of things we would normally miss, got a fantastic explanation and overall it was a great experience. Highly recommended!
