Brilliant tour of Trastevere

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Matteo. We did a fair bit of hill climbing but it was all so worth it for the incredible view of the city from up high and rewarded ourselves with incredible gelato on the way back down! He was great with our 7 yo and thankfully the promise of a sweet treat did the trick. Grazie Mille

Awesome Walk with Matteo

This was such a precious memory for us during our visit to Rome. The walk around the neighbourhood with Matteo was such an eye opener. We learnt so much from Matteo — from photography tips to the history of the place and the local life and food of the people. Matteo taught us how to factor lighting in, which resulted in awesome photos. He gave us tips on photography which we will definitely use from now on. The local cafe with pasta, pizza and fried breaded rice croquettes (suppli) were delicious! Will definitely recommend Rome Photo Walk with Matteo 😊👍

Matteo, Great with kids!

Matteo was awesome with my 6-year-old. It was one of the highlights of our trip. I initially expected just a few cool photos, which we got, but we also had an absolutely delightful time. This was true even considering the unexpected trip to the pharmacy for my daughter's massive nosebleed. Matteo is a kind person and passionate about his work. Highly recommended!

A highlight of our experience in Rome

My friends and I truly enjoyed our time with Matteo exploring the streets of Travastere in Rome. He is a wonderful, warm person who is a delightful photographer - both from creative and technical perspectives. He is great at making the personal connection to the people he is guiding. In our group we had both beginner and more advanced photographers and he was able to provide each of us a great experience. We met him at 5pm and ended the tour at 8pm - this was a great time to do the tour for the light, shadows, and sunset colors over the river. I hope to see Matteo again someday for another great experience in Rome.
