Iconic Napoli Experience!

What makes pizza different in the place where it was born? Find out in just a few hours by letting Gennaro walk you through each step, including visiting the outdoor market for some ingredients (and recommendations for where to eat later in your trip). Due to some technical difficulties, we did our pizza making in an actual pizzeria kitchen in their off hours. In a way, it was a bonus, because we had both Gennaro and Vicenzo, a pizza master making pizzas in his family's restaurant. It was wonderfully fun, and the Pizza we made was delicious! We learned the extra details of how to properly knead the dough, how to properly measure out ingredients for the correct ratio, and the secret to making the sauce just right. Afterward, Gennaro sent photos and video he took, as well as the instructions so we can do our best to replicate it at home, at least as well as our paltry home oven can handle. An experience we'd highly recommend for anyone who lives to cook, loves to eat, and enjoys meeting new people along the way!

Pizza Making That Transcends Expectations

ChatGPT 4o Share You said: I am writting a review for a Pizza Making Tour I took with my family in Naples. The host was Gennaro I want to say things like this. Gennaro is the perfect host, tour guide, friend and everythign else in the middle. I thought I was signing up for a pizza making class, and althought the pizza we made was phonminal, the tour was so much more than that. The passion that Gennaro deliveres about Naples is asthenic and contegious. He took us places and treated us to "Napoleon" treats that I woudl have other wise walked right past. I have travel the world, may times over. Visited over 60 country, and in all my travles we meet locals, enthroustic locals, locals that become friends. I knew fromt he moment that we met Gennaro, he would become a story for my family to talk about for a very long time. ChatGPT said: When I signed up for a pizza-making class in Naples, I thought I was getting a culinary lesson. While the pizza we crafted was absolutely phenomenal, what Gennaro delivered was so much more than a cooking class—it was a masterclass in passion, culture, and the essence of Naples itself. Gennaro is the perfect host, tour guide, friend, and everything in between. From the moment we met him, it was clear this wasn’t just another activity; this was going to be an experience. His passion for his city is both authentic and contagious. He doesn’t just share Naples with you; he immerses you in it. He led us through streets I might have otherwise passed by, introducing us to hidden gems, local delights, and unforgettable "Neapolitan" treats that brought the city to life. Every stop, every detail, was infused with Gennaro’s boundless enthusiasm and love for his hometown. I’ve traveled extensively—over 60 countries and countless adventures—and I’ve met many locals who left lasting impressions. But Gennaro stands apart. From the moment we met, I knew he wouldn’t just be part of this trip but a story my family would cherish and retell for years to come. If you’re looking for more than just a pizza-making class, if you want an unforgettable journey into the heart and soul of Naples, then Gennaro is your man. This experience is one of the highlights of all my travels, and I cannot recommend it enough.

Fantastic Hike and Tour

We had a great day with Enzo. He grew up in the area, so he really knows the mountains, and he was a lot of fun and easy to be with. He listened well to the kind of day we wanted to have. You may be able to do the Path of God without a guide, but particularly in November (the low season) it is useful to have someone help you with the logistics of where and how to go. In addition to his wealth of information about the path and the surrounding nature, Enzo took us on the ferry to Amalfi and for a tour of Atrani — all very beautiful. Thank you Enzo for a memorable day.

Gennaro was very personable and was very proud of his city. He went the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasurable experience. The tour itself was very nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. He even took pictures of us and sent them to us after we got home! I would recommend it to anyone.
