Wonderful tour, esp Italy first timers!

I would recommend Francesca, specifically, if you want to do a food tour in Rome. It was especially helpful for us as first time visitors to Rome. Meeting spot was great, food variety worked really well for us, and it’s exactly what we needed as an introduction to local Roman and Italian food. Francesca‘s knowledge of food and her relationships at the market and different restaurants made the tour feel like it was a lot more than just showing us spots and dishes to order, but a great time learning about history, culture, and the nuances of local food. Conversation was great, she was so easy to be with for three hours, and she even gave us some incredible recommendations after the tour for other spots we could explore. Favorite stops were food tasting in the market, the most amazing pizza, and a spot with fresh suppli. Almost forgot the gelato! Now that I think about it, everything was pretty amazing! Francesca gets a 10 out of 10 from us!

Great food, great host.

Maurizio was a great host, walking us around various stops in Rome sharing stories of his experiences and some of the history of our various stops. The food was excellent, and we would highly recommend this experience.

A high level tour.

Francesca is a very communicative guide, and makes us feel confortabe from the beginning. We had a great time in Trastevere with her, and saw things we would never have noticed on our own. She has an academic background in art, which makes a lot of difference. I would recommend Francesca to a friend.

The Roman Friend You Wish You Had

Daniele was an amazing guide and was like the dear Roman friend we all wish we had. His insights into Rome, Roman culture and history, architecture, and his knowledge of Italy as a whole is unmatched. Time spent with Daniele was time well spent, and my family and I were very happy to have spent 1.5 engaging hours with him. We wish it were more! I would encourage anyone who wants a kind, genuine, engaging and worldly Roman Friend to choose Daniele as your guide.
