While visiting Venice, I had the pleasure of booking a tour with Valerio for fish shopping at Rialto Market followed by home cooking in Murano. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary and truly authentic.
We began our day at Rialto Market, selecting fresh, local ingredients under Valerio's expert guidance. From there, we traveled to his lovely home in Murano, where he prepared a mouthwatering multi-course meal, perfectly paired with libations for each course. What made the experience even more special was how hands-on it was—my friend and I got to help with some of the preparations, which made the meal feel even more personal and rewarding.
Throughout the day, Valerio’s warm and engaging personality shone. He answered all our questions about life in Italy with patience and enthusiasm, sharing fascinating insights into local culture and traditions. Despite our endless curiosity, he never seemed to tire of our company and made us feel completely at home.
To top it off, Valerio provided excellent recommendations for other unique experiences and activities we could try during our trip. His hospitality, knowledge, and passion for sharing the Italian way of life made this tour the highlight of my visit to Venice.
If you’re looking for an authentic, unforgettable experience in Venice, I cannot recommend Valerio enough. He is the perfect host and guide, and this experience is not to be missed!

Our experience started with great communication from the time of our booking. Dina was very attentive in responding to ensure we received her responses quickly so we could make our decisions and purchases as some attractions and times sell out. She provided full details of what to expect during the process on the bookings. Fortunately we booked well enough in advance that we were able to secure the tickets and times we wanted. As the trip approached, her communication continued. She coordinated our meet up location based upon where our tour started and the day before our tour communicated wonderfully on where and how to locate her. This turned out not to even be a search as she spotted us and approached unhesitatingly. She is an absolutely wonderful host in her city and started us off at one of her favorite historical coffee bars. Her knowledge and passion for her city and country is evident in her presentations during her tours. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience spending the day with her. I highly recommend a private tour with Dina to gain that one-on-one experience and be ably to ask questions and communicate. She truly loves what she does and it is felt.

Fascinating , Informative and Fun!
We have just returned from our trip to Florence and wanted to say thank you to Dina for our tour of the artisans of Florence. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and it was interesting to see both some old techniques and also an innovative new approach keeping the artisan tradition alive. In addition, what we saw on our tour gave us a deeper appreciation of what we saw subsequently in the Medici Chapel the following day. Our tour also involved cappuccino, panettone and ice cream which is always a good formula!
We would have no hesitation in recommending Dina if you want to find out more about the renaissance city.
