Beautiful Tuscan farm visit

We had a wonderful morning with Gaia. She kindly collected us from our Siena hotel & drove us (very skilfully) to Il Pino, a beautiful organic farm & vineyard near Poggibonsi in the Tuscan countryside. We enjoyed a short walking tour of the farm seeing olive trees, vineyards, sheep & cattle. An incredible panoramic view towards San Gimignano was a highlight. An early lunch of delicious farm produced & homemade olives, bread, delicious olive oil, cheeses & cured meats plus pasta & Pappa al Pomodoro was served to us by Mannino family members in there fabulous kitchen / dining loft. We tasted the wineries two wines & particularly enjoyed the Chianti. After coffee & a fond farewell Gaia drove us back through the stunning & picturesque countryside to Siena. Gaia was great company & very easy to talk to. The conversation flowed effortlessly. A fabulous trip.

Special Wine Tasting Experience

Gaia brought us to a small family winery. We toured fields, cellar demonstrating production, and had tasting with homemade treats. Loved the wine and olive oil. Shipped wine and oil to USA.

A unique, wonderful, breath of freah air!

This tour was everything our family hoped for and more. We were needing a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and this beautiful, hike through the countryside was the answer. Simone showed us interesting historical sights, local towns and foods, pointed out various plants and trees, answered our many questions and ended with a true local lunch at a family run farm and winery. It was a breath to fresh air: fun, interesting, beautiful and delicious.
