We had the lovely Lucia show us around Venice. The kids, aged 9 & 11, put this as a top highlight of the trip. Lucia was passionate, knowledgable and kept the kids engaged in the 2.5hr tour. We adults also had fun and learnt a bit too. We added in the mask making activity at they end which they loved and allowed hubby and me to go have a appertivo sans kids - close by, which was also very nice. Highly recommend.

Highlight of Venice

After having travelled through Rome and Florence to Venice, this was my girls, favourite all because of Lucia’s insightful, fun tour. Best tour for kids!!

Lucia was a wonderful guide for my grandson, who is nine years old. She knew just how to engage him and keep him interested during the entire tour. The scavenger hunt booklet is now a prized possession. He absolutely loved the experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Lucia is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind.

Lucia is a wonderful guide. We went on the Ciao Venezia treasure hunt tour with her together with our kids who are seven and nine years old. We all really loved it. Like other reviewers have described as well, she immediately connected with our children. She's just fantastic with kids. On top of that she is very knowledgeable about Venice and its history. The treasure hunt itself was great and the kids were very engaged. I don't think we would have been able to excite them this much about the city without Lucia. We can wholeheartedly recommend Lucia for your next tour through Venice even if you don't have kids. After the tour was over she even gave us her recommendations of favorite restaurants, thanks to that we ended up having our best Italian dinner that night. Thanks so much Lucia and hope to see you again soon.
