Things To Do In A Weekend in Verona

We like to preview areas for planning our future trips to Italy. Martina took us on a half day trip to see the beautiful area of Lake Garda. Martina took us to a winery that we loved. My husband does not even drink and thoroughly enjoyed the tour about the process and the history of the winery, owned by two sisters. Martina was knowledgeable about the region. If you are looking for an English speaking guide, Martina is fluent.

This was our second tour with Martina during this stay in Verona. Martina was simply exceptional in looking after us on this occasion also. She arranged for her boyfriend Henny to take host us for the initial part of the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed his company during the wine tasting. Martina then took over and completed the tour which included a visit to Lazise. Again, her knowledge of the area and historical locations was outstanding. We are particularly grateful for her care and assistance in conveying us to Bardolino which was our next location for our visit to Verona and Lago di Garda. Grazie mille Martina and Henny.

Alessandro was a great tour guide. He was able to accommodate a short notice tour and we saw some really great things. He had a lot of information about the area and was easy to talk to. Unfortunately a lot of sites were closed down during our time there, but Alessandro was able to make up for that by showing us more off the beaten path sites and took us to an incredible winery. Could not have asked for a better tour!

My group had a great time with Izabela on the half day tour to Lake Garda! She was very accommodating, communicative, and friendly. We all learned a lot about the area and enjoyed our time with her. The tour itself was also great - we were picked up at our place of stay, brought to beautiful places, and dropped off at our desired location. The entire experience was 10/10!
