Alessandro was absolutely brilliant! We have travelled quite a bit around Italy and Alessandro's tour was the best by far. Fun, personal view of downtown Verona
There were 6 of us on the tour with Frank. We’re all gardeners, and Frank made a point of showing us interesting plants, such as the oldest Plane tree in Italy. He gave us a ton of information about the history of the area, making it fun for us by giving us “points” for remembering important facts. He checked often that we were absorbing what he told us and would say things in different ways to make sure we got it. He had several visual aids (maps, old photos, etc) that helped bring history alive. Thoroughly enjoyable and valuable 3 hours!
