Lovely and informative
Lucy was very accommodating of our young family and tailored the experience so all of us had things to look forwards to. The gold leaf workshop was fun for us as well as eating gold leaf ice cream from the shop it was invented! The historical districts were amazing. We really appreciated Lucy’s time and efforts with our family.

Peaceful walk away from the crowds
Three weeks into our travels in Japan this was a great way to enjoy a nice walk, in nature, and away from the crowds. Lucy was very relaxed, flexible and also knowledgeable about the area. As an expat herself she gave some interesting insights to life in Japan and Kanazawa.

Lucy was a fantastic local host. It was terrible weather on the day of our 4hr tour but we took our time and learnt so much from her. Very knowledgeable insights into the Kanazawa way of life, then and now. We really enjoyed our time and were able to go back to visit some of our highlights again the next day.
