First visit to Kanazawa
I was visiting Kanazawa on my own. Raphael was interested to know where my interests lay and adapted our three hour tour accordingly. Raphael has lived locally for a number of years, clearly understands the Japanese way of living, and the country’s and Kanazawa’s history. Not only did I learn a great deal over the tour but Raphael also directed me to other sites I might want to visit over the remainder of my stay, and recommended a number of restaurants.

Lucy was a fantastic local host. It was terrible weather on the day of our 4hr tour but we took our time and learnt so much from her.
