We had such a lovely time with Sena. She took us around Shibuya area for gyoza sushi and sake. My wife has food allergies and Sena checked with with us ahead of time to make sure we would not eat prohibited foods AND she confirmed with the restaurant the day of the tour which made us feel very comfortable and was appreciated. Sena was also wonderful and answered us many questions that we had about Tokyo. She also made herself available after the tour
Ai was wonderful. Book Ai with confidence. Very friendly, humble and knowledgeable. We enjoyed each food stop. Delicious bites. You will end the tour stuffed. She communicates well leading up to the food tour day. You won’t be disappointed.
Seden, truly made my family’s food tour memorable. She speaks perfect English and is fluent in both Japanese and the culture. She took the four of us on a food tour of what the locals like to eat versus the more common tourist traps. She also led us through a beautiful night stroll through a park. The walk was needed because to digest between all of the meals. Trust me, you need a huge appetite to finish off all the food. We didn’t even come close! The most unique meal was the hot table but my favourite was the sushi bar because of the setting and chefs omakase. If you love food, this tour is a must!
We wanted to book a food tour to get to understand the local culture as one of the first things on our three-week trip to Japan, and Seden was the absolute perfect guide. From the moment we met her, she was so kind and explained everything thoroughly. We learned about an area we wouldn’t have had a chance to explore on our own, and got the true local experience. She took us to so many incredible spots and made sure that we got to try a little bit of everything, while explaining the local traditions and even some Japanese history. We couldn’t recommend a tour with Seden more, it’s a must-do for anyone coming to Japan!!!
