The Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. It is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples that are decorated with Hindu icons and murals. The caves are also a popular site for rock climbing and bird watching. The Batu Caves is also the site of the annual Thaipusam festival where Hindus from all over the country come to worship and offer prayers.
Tony went out of his way to show us as much as possible and give us many experiences on our day in of Kuala Lumpur. His knowledge and stories enriched our stay in this city and helped us to understand Malaysia and its cultures better. Thank you so much Tony for your time , knowledge and kindness!
We as a couple were debating between a food tour, a highlights tour and a kickstart tour. The tour Tony offered was a mix of all three, which was perfect! Not only did we get to see some of KL's highlights, we also learned a lot about the details of these highlights; details we would otherwise not have gotten ourselves. Apart from that, we had a great "local" lunch, were shown around the city and were given some great tips and suggestions for the upcoming parts of our trip in Malaysia. Great experience and super fun informative local guide!
Paul was a fantastic guide. Thanks to him, we got to see so many things all in one day. It was the best day of our trip to KL. He never made us feel rushed at all but kept us on track so we could make it to see everything we wanted to see. His knowledge about the area and the history was awesome. Could not have had a better guide. He took extra care with us being elderly to make sure the pace was good for us. We would definitely use Paul again as our guide.
We actually went to on two trips with Paul because of how great he was. The other trip we went on was the Malacca Day Trip
