Isadora was great! We met her in the morning at a park in downtown Guanajuato. From there she took us around to some whole-in-the-wall restaurants and street vendors. Places we would have never gone without her as a guide. So glad we did the food was delicious, accept for the menudo, not a big fan but it was good to try. You have to pace yourself, 10 food stops are a lot of food! With her being a chef she knew the food, as a native of Guanajuato she knew the town like the back of her hand. What I really appreciated about her is she catered the adventure to what we wanted to do, even took us to a museum. Highly recommend!
Isador’s tour was not only full of delicious and traditional foods, it was a great experience made better by her local knowledge. We do food tours in nearly every city we visit and this one is not to be missed. She is a local chef and teaches traditional cooking so she knows where to get the best examples of great food. Come HUNGRY because to offerings are plentiful. I can’t overstate what a great value this tour is. Don’t miss out!
Isadora introduced our group to interesting, delicious and a fun foods that helped us feel so much a part of Guanajuato. She spent time with us beyond our expectations and helped us discover hidden corners of this fascinating and diverse city. We loved it.
