Food Tours in Merida

We had a wonderful evening with Simona starting at 5:30 pm. Besides about food we learned a lot about Mérida as well. As we did this tour around dinner time the tour fed us more than enough with a nice street dessert as well. Highly recommend Simona, her English (as well as her Spanish) is excellent.

Our experience touring with Simona was excellent. Our connection with Simona was immediate and postive. She accomodated our requests with such grace and warmth. We will look back on the day exloring Merida with pleasure and highly recommend her services.

Simona was incredible! She took us into the local Merida market. This market is a maze of incredible local seafood, meats, produce, and local goods. I would have gotten lost in this maze of shops, but Simona took us around to eat all the authentic local cuisine. She took us to see some sights and we ended at a local cantina. If you are interested in local authentic cuisine, Simona is your girl!

The tour with Simona was so much fun! She is not only very knowledgeable about the city and a great storyteller, but also very welcoming. Her warm attitude makes you feel like you are sharing a pleasant stroll with an old friend. I really appreciated her effort in accommodating all my allergies to ensure I could fully enjoy the experience. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Simona! This will surely remain one of my best memories from this trip.
