How to eat like locals in CDMX
My husband and I had a great time with Daniel. He was friendly, fun, and informative. The best part of the tour was when he took us around a middle-class residential neighborhood full of incredible taquerias, where we got to eat the way locals eat in the city. We would not have been able to find many of those places ourselves. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience Daniel!

Delicious food
Alberto took us to some local shops that may otherwise be overlooked by tourists. All locations were tasty, fresh and friendly. The pork tacos at Taquería Orinoco were unforgettable.

Amazing insights into culture & food
We were expecting a tour of different types of tacos in parts of Mexico City, but got so much more than that from our couple of hours with Mariel!
In addition to sharing the rich and varied history of tacos and their significance to Mexicans, Mariel shared some really valuable insights into the culture of the people, snippets of history and some personal experiences/anecdotes. The taco tasting was amazing and it was great to hear the history and personal stories behind what you see on the streets.
We also really loved the way Mariel used the time on the tour to highlight the role of women in the cuisine and culture of Mexico City.
Absolutely worth the price, thanks again Mariel and best wishes for the future!
