Street Food Tours in Tangier

Thami was a wonderful tour guide. We had to get a later ferry and he was able to accommodate our later arrival. We wandered around and tasted the foods that the locals eat during their daily life. It was amazing. We tasted food we would not have had on our own. Would definitely go back to some of the food places if we had more time. Thami was very informative about Tangier, the people, and their way of life. He was a very kind and responsive to our needs and questions. We visited the market and the Medina. It was a wonderful tour with a friend 🧡

Thami was prompt and chose a meeting place that was easy for us to find. We told him we wanted an authentic Moroccan experience and he did not disappoint! We were able to try fresh oysters and olives when walking through the markets and picked up treats to walk around town with. He took us to places we would have never ventured to on our own and explained his city with enthusiasm!!

I recently joined the Thami culinary walking tour, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! His expertise shone through, and his storytelling kept us all captivated – especially with his great sense of humor, which brought a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the group. The highlight of the tour was visiting a traditional tagine restaurant, where we enjoyed authentic, delicious dishes that showcased the best of local flavors. It felt like a real insider’s experience, offering a deep dive into Moroccan culinary traditions. I left not only full and happy but also with a new appreciation for the rich history and flavors of Tangier. If you’re in town, this tour is a must!
