Thami was prompt and chose a meeting place that was easy for us to find. We told him we wanted an authentic Moroccan experience and he did not disappoint! We were able to try fresh oysters and olives when walking through the markets and picked up treats to walk around town with. He took us to places we would have never ventured to on our own and explained his city with enthusiasm!!
We met Thami outside the cruise terminal and he gave us a very informative tour until it was interrupted and he was unable to finish the tour. He quickly found another tour guide, Azeed, who graciously took over and we had a wonderful day. We felt like we had a nice overview of Tangier and would book with Thami or Azeed again!
I recently joined the Thami culinary walking tour, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into Moroccan cuisine and culture that you wouldn’t find in a typical guidebook. His expertise shone through, and his storytelling kept us all captivated – especially with his great sense of humor, which brought a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the group. The highlight of the tour was visiting a traditional tagine restaurant, where we enjoyed authentic, delicious dishes that showcased the best of local flavors. It felt like a real insider’s experience, offering a deep dive into Moroccan culinary traditions. I left not only full and happy but also with a new appreciation for the rich history and flavors of Tangier. If you’re in town, this tour is a must!
