He’s Incredibly knowledgeable about the current and very complex politics of Belfast. It’s a complicated place and it’s easy to judge it quickly, but Connor helped us actually understand the people here and how they felt and why they felt that way. Basically, if you want to understand Belfast on a deep cultural, political and historical level, he’s your man. He goes out of his way to make the tour as comprehensive as possible, taking you to out of the way spots and even introducing you to some locals if you come across an interesting character. On top of all that, he’s a very entertaining story teller and, might I add, exceptionally well dressed.

Loved it!

What a joy it was to experience Belfast with an enthusiastic and experienced guide. Alwyn walked and talked us through the interesting history of Belfast. His local knowledge and pride were evident in all of the many stories we heard. He was candid and yet very balanced with his perspective about the “troubles”, which was of special interest to us. We can’t recommend him more highly.
