Experience life like a Norwegian

This tour is a very nice way to experience life like a local. As we learned during our time in Oslo, Norwegians love to be outdoors. We traveled with Tanya-Lisa for a few hours to 3 very different islands. Tanya-Lisa was a wonderful host, she explained a lot about each place, shared history with us and was even kind enough to provide Norwegian food for us to try. We enjoyed some hiking, beautiful views and the fresh, clean air of Oslo. If you enjoy nature and being outdoors this tour will not disappoint.

Great Time in Oslo!

Our tour with Karlis was so much fun! He customized it on the spot after meeting us at our hotel and finding out what we had and had not done previously. We ended up seeing places and learning about things we never expected. Highly recommend Karlis as a guide in Oslo!

Oslo Fjords Island Tour

We had a truly wonderful few hours with Ihor who took us onto the Oslo Fjord visiting the islands of Hovedøya, Lindøya and Gressholmen. All islands were diffierent; (i) Hovedøya had ruins of an ancient monastery, WW2 bunker and cannons, (ii) Lindøya had over 300 brightly coloured (red, green and yellow) cabins where City folk escape to for a break and (iii) Gressholmen was more of a ‘wild’ island that had less development. This island was our favourite because of the stunning views down the Oslo Fjord and back up to the City. Ihor is a lovely guy, with a lot of amazing stories and his knowledge of Oslo is incredible. The other thing that made the trip is Ihor’s passion for Oslo and this really was engaging. If you’re looking to do something different away from the hustle and bustle of the City then this tour is definitely for you. Just make sure you check the weather and wear the right clothing and footwear - this is a must even if you think otherwise.
