Short Tours in Muscat

Highly enjoyable and informative evening tour of Muscat with Yousaf Ali - exactly what we’d hoped for. Yousaf was great at reading his audience and delivering! We’d already seen a good bit of Muscat by day, and also a trip to Nizwa etc, so we were keen to hear about Oman/Muscat’s history and current affairs, mixed with getting a different view of old Muscat by night. Friendly, enthusiastic and informative, a great evening trip and would highly recommend Yousaf to others (in fact we already did to someone else staying in our hotel!)

I was delighted to meet Hajer who I had been messaging on the app. She is extremely responsive and helpful even before meeting her! She arrived in a very comfortable 4 x 4 which she drove with great confidence and care all over the city. She is incredibly proud of her country and its people and shared so much of her knowledge with me, including sampling three treats which reflect street food in the city. Seeing Muscat lit up in the dark was a real treat and created a very different atmosphere to what can be experienced during the day, I highly recommend it. There were so many highlights, the beautiful mosque with the golden domes, the Opera House with its glistening white marble and the Sultan’s Palace. However, for me, meeting such an engaging young woman was a highlight, I felt as if I had known her for years such was her warmth and kindness.

We visited Muscat by night with Hajer yesterday. The tour exceeded our expectations. Not only she showed us the city, but we had a chance to taste some local delights, a very nice touch. We are very happy she'll shows us another side of Oman tomorrow. Thank you!

My trip to Oman was amazing to begin with, hands down, would relocate to tomorrow as an expat if there was a physician job available. And furthermore, the Omani people are the most hospitable, genuine and gracious people I have met in all my travels. However, to top it off, Hajer, I promise you, will be one of the fascinating, accomplished and just WONDERFUL people you will ever meet. I had the most memorable and wonderful time with her over the course of two days. Highly recommend the city tour with her as well as Nizwa. It truly is like spending two days in a magic place with a friend you have known forever. I HIGHLY HIGHLY endorse, Hajer. I miss her already and certainly will be back to see her wonderful country in the future.
