Day Trips in Cusco

We’re a family of five with kids ages 18, 15, and 11. Fabrizio was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and spoke excellent English. He even took us slightly off the beaten path, which we really enjoyed. Along the way, he introduced us to a traditional Peruvian game called Sapa. We got to play it while waiting for our lunch at a very cool outdoor restaurant. The whole experience was more than we could’ve hoped for.

We signed up for the 3 bites and a drink Cusco and 7 hr Sacred Valley tour. The bite and drinks evening was the best tastes we had in Cusco. We went back to the restaurants he took us too because they were so good. Time flies by when talking with Fabrizio. His insight and and understanding of Cusco and the INCA history/culture was extensive. It felt like we had a college professor with us for those 2 days. Melisa’s many years as a guide is obvious in her knowledge and understanding of the Incans, their way of life, belief systems, etc. Not only that, but she knew how to plan the day so that we avoided the crowds of tourists visiting the sites! We also found her to be a very kind person-someone very easy to spend the entire day with. In addition, she went above and beyond to help us with some plans we had for later in the week that had nothing to do with her! She really cares and helps people have a good experience in the Sacred Valley. We’ve already sent some friends her way, and will let everyone we know know about her!
