Fantastic walking tour of the real Porto

André was a brilliant guide. Showed me some fantastic photo spots in Porto. He was always checking to see if the pace was suitable and if I needed a break. Was never rushed in taking my photos and provided guidance on best position and when to look back for a different perspective. The route taken was fabulous through the old town, up and down in the old town before crossing the Dom Luis I Bridge. Would highly recommend André if you want to see the real Porto.

Ana is super fun!

Wow! Our tour with Ana in Porto was hands down the highlight of our trip! From the moment we met her, Ana's energy was infectious. She's incredibly fun, engaging, and instantly made us feel like we were exploring the city with a wonderful friend. Ana's passion for Porto is truly inspiring. She shared so many fascinating insights and stories that we would have never discovered on our own, and she really knew how to show us a great time in the city. And the food! Oh, the food! Ana didn't just take us to tourist traps. She led us to hidden gems where we savored the most authentic and delicious local cuisine. Every bite was a delight! If you're looking for a tour that combines incredible food and a truly wonderful guide, look no further. Ana is a gem, and this tour is an absolute must-do in Porto. She made our experience so special and memorable. We left with full bellies, happy hearts, and fantastic memories. Thank you, Ana! We can't recommend you highly enough!

A Warm Welcome into a Local Home

I had a great time with Helena! She is very warm, open and friendly. I joined her experience with my early teens. We went to the local butcher shop and supermarket together and then enjoyed chatting and appetizers while cooking together. I especially loved a glass of vinho verde with requeijão de ovelha! I liked this cheese so much that I ended up buying it several times during the rest of my stay in Portugal. For the main course, she asked me in advance what we wanted, and although it was hard to choose as they were all appealing, we decided on the bacalhau dish. It was nice to see how to prepare bacalhau, a traditional ingredient that is an essential part of Portuguese cuisine. Also, since it was right around Easter time, she prepared Easter cookie baking for my daughter and she had fun cutting up the cookies and decorating them with chocolate. Thank you for a lovely relaxing evening!

Wonderful Experience

Helena was wonderful. She was very accommodating to our food preferences. She is a warm and welcoming person and was very easy to communicate with to set up the class. It was lovely to experience the cooking class in a local home. It is an experience you will enjoy while you are there and remember for a long time after.
