This was such a great afternoon. João's enthusiasm & love of Porto made for an engaging and interesting time. We all found the combination of social history, architecture and street art fascinating and found it really useful for the rest of our stay in Porto especially the bar & food recommendations for our teenagers.

Find The Back Alleys

I wanted to see Porto off the beaten track and Ruben delivered. I saw all of the main sights with my tour group. I wanted to see the city from the point of view of the locals. The added benefit was no crowds. Ruben also gave me a brief history of Portugal. Very interesting. Be prepared to do a lot of walking including many, many stairs and hills. Wear good shoes.

Great guide

Carlos was a very fun guide. He told us about all the local places he likes, the places to go to avoid the tourists and showed us all around the city. He was always very responsive to our questions and we definitely recommend him for your next tour

Amazing guide, Incredible person

I decided to do a solo tour and I picked the absolutely best person I could to really get an inside of the city and also the knowledge and emotion of the artists histories . I felt like I got to know more about the country in our time together and then I would have any other way. I got to hear about the emotional history of the country and also see some amazing street art. JOAO is a very special person and I really appreciated the caring way that he took me around the city. I got more than I thought I would ever get out of a tour because it didn’t seem like a tour. It felt like I was traveling with a friend who knew and had so much knowledge About the city where he lives and the artwork that he loves. Thank you so much!
