Thank you, Joao!

Such a cool tour. Joao showed us interesting street art while explaining parts of the city. He was incredibly knowledgeable and spent a lot of time describing the art and the story behind the artists. He even pointed out local shops and restaurants to us too. We loved it. He is a true gem and we can’t recommend enough.

We loved our time with Sofia!

Amazing hike and even better conversation. Sofia was incredible. She shared all of the local knowledge that she has and stopped along the way to explain plants, history and even smell the roses! She pointed out the best lunch spots and shared other tips with us. We hope to see Sofia again, she was the best! Hike was beautiful!

Lisbon jewish history tour

Peter was extremely knowledgeable, weaving together both the secular and Jewish life of Lisbon through the centuries. He uncovered the architectural clues to the history of the Jews in Lisbon, bringing to life the rich history and vital part that the Jewish community played in contributing to the economy and culture of Lisbon. He also highlighted the persecution of the Jews during several periods from before the inquisition until WWII. We are grateful for his comprehensive tour. Jim & Mindy, Miami, FL

Amazing tour!

Joao is amazing. So kind and thoughtful and interesting! He knew such a wide range of history and fun facts about Lisbon, and especially the Jewish community that left us thinking and wondering more! He did a great job pointing out tips of places to go and ways to make the city more accessible (hidden elevators, escalators, etc.) and he was awesome to send us a detailed list of many more recomendations and followed up on the various things we spoke about. He was able to make the tour interesting for our 10 year old daughter and also was sensitive to the heat that day, and kept looking for spots with shade where we could talk comfortably. Definitely book your tour with Joao - you won't be disappointed!
