  • Temple Tours across Singapore

It is commonly said that you can find almost everything in Singapore and there is no better example of this statement than the multiple places of worship you can tour when you are in Singapore. Singapore is home to many races and religions, and you can visit a multitude of temples to learn more about the unique culture and rituals they practice. Classic Singaporean attractions include the Buddhist Tooth Relic Temple which houses the Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic and the Sri Mariamman Temple, Singapore’s oldest Hindu Temple. Both are located in Chinatown, so you can have a two-for-one tour with your local guide!

  • Night Tours in the lively Central Business District

Amazng day with Leo!

Where do I begin? It was excellent! Being a solo traveler I like having tour guides and Leo is one of my top 5 memorable guides of all time. He met me at my hotel (very kind of him and convenient for me) and had a loaded metro card ready for me to use. We used the clean and air conditioned underground train and walked for our tour. He knows the Downtown Core like the back of his hand and shared all the past, present and future facts of Singapore with me. He is extremely knowledgeable and enjoys questions. He taught me about their judicial government, Chinese history, educational system, food, religion and even Formula 1 (I’m a big fan). His way of sharing all this information was interesting, personal and timed to perfection so that when we discussed a topic, we were literally standing in that spot. I don’t think there are many places in the world where a tour like this one can exist. Leo and I had a fabulous day together and I was sad for it to end. He gave me valuable information to continue my day and evening. I highly recommend this tour and definitely with Leo. By the way, my metro card still had money left on it so I gave it to a worker at my hotel. It’s good to pay it forward.

Great Hawker Chinatown Experience

HJ was very good at introducing us to lots of Hawker Stalls and food shops in various parts of Chinatown. He also showed us murals and signage that helped explain the history of the Hawker stalls as well as the experience of the Chinese people coming to Singapore and how they lived. Lots of food! Come hungry!

A non tourist experience

Monica picked me up at the hotel and showed me a side of Singapore that many tourists don’t see from the singing birds to the original village and local shopping areas. She was so considerate and aware of how hot it was for me that we popped into air conditioned places. So interesting to hear her personal life.

Best personal family tour

Our family of 4 from Brisbane with 2 teenagers spent a wonderful afternoon with William. He went above and beyond to look after us (keeping us hydrated and as cool as possible), provide us with the most amazing food experiences Singapore has to offer and overall, just so friendly and sweet. He gave us a real insight into life in Singapore, how the different cultures work together, lessons on how to order at Hawker markets and use the MRT network. We could not have asked for a kinder, friendlier guide to welcome us to Singapore. And considering we only had a few days to explore the island, we felt like he fitted at least 2 days of experiences into one afternoon. It was the highlight of our brief holiday and I have already recommended William to many friends back home in Australia.
