Spend a day in Montserrat and explore the spectacular area together with a local. Visit Santa Maria de Montserrat, discovering several hermitages in different conservation states and if you are lucky even spot some wildlife!
We had a wonderful outing this week with Antonio. It was like spending the day with a friend.
He was determined to show us the best views and points of interest at Montserrat. It turned out to be a slightly cool and cloudy day, making for an even more interesting backdrop- and comfortable touring weather.
Not only was Antonio knowledgeable and informative about the sites, but he was patient and attentive as we browsed the amazing food vendors and gift shops as well.
He took us into a village on our way back, to a quaint little restaurant where we all had lunch together.
It was an amazing way to spend the day.

Wonderful day to a beautiful place
We booked Antonio for our day trip to Montserrat based on previous reviews, and we were grateful we did. Antonio was very communicative and accommodating. My 82 year old mother was with us and Antonio was incredibly kind, patient, and caring towards her. He was also a wealth of information and spent the hour ride to Montserrat sharing his knowledge of the history of Barcelona and Monserrat. Antonio had our tickets ready and we experienced both the boys choir and the black Madonna in good time. He also walked us through the small museum with more informative videos of the sanctuary and its history. It was a perfect day and Antonio was a big reason for it. We would highly recommend Antonio for any tour he offers, knowing he will be knowledgeable, prompt, and a pleasure to be with. Thank you, Antonio!

Antonio is an amazing guide!
We couldn’t have done this day without him. He organized all the details of the different things we wanted to see and do. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Montserrat and the monastery. Before heading to the wine tasting he took us to a restaurant for lunch that had the most delicious food and an incredible view. He also took the guess work out of choosing which winery in the area to for our wine tasting experience. We had an incredible day and I would highly recommend Antonio as a guide.
