The market in Denia is held every week on Monday at the Torrecremada esplanade. There are many stalls that sell local produce and other food items as well as other products such as clothing and household goods. The market runs from 8am until 2pm, so it's a great place to go if you're looking for something to do during your lunch break! In addition to this weekly market there is also a vintage market held on Fridays, which sells second-hand items such as clothes, shoes, jewelry, books etc. There's also a summer market held every year in July and August where vendors come from all over Spain to sell their goods; it's great because you can find things that are unique to certain regions!
Arianne led a tour for our tenth wedding anniversary that we loved! We enjoyed the variety and she selected some of the best food we've ever had in Spain (fresh cuttlefish!). She was very good company, and shared interesting nuggets about the history and current life of Denia. Red Wine and Jamón stood in the market was a highlight.
Spent an exceptional few hours walking around Denia with Arianne. Her choice of tastings fulfilled our requests in every way, & we thoroughly enjoyed walking through the old town with her. She is an absolute pleasure to be with, & her knowledge of the area enlightened & delighted us. Thank you Arianne for a wonderful experience!
I just returned from a trip to Spain, and one of the highlights was the private food tour we had when visiting the Costa Blanca. The 10 tastings of Denia were absolutely amazing. We tried so many different foods and drinks during our tour, including calamares and cocas in a wood-fired oven, fresh fish straight off the boat and more! I highly recommend this tour if you're visiting the area, it's not only tasty but also a lot of fun!
We had quite a lot Withlocals 10 tastings tours already in many different cities around the world. All were great, but his food tour was definitely one of the best! We’ve been to Denia before as it is a lovely city with a nice center, harbour and beach. Now we had the chance to do a 10 tastings tour here, so looking at our past experience this was an easy choice. The food was great, from local oysters to cocas and artichokes. And it was definitely next level because of our host Arianne who made the tour super enjoyable. She knew all the good food spots and also adjusted the route based on our preferences. Arianne also made sure our kids enjoyed it by stopping at a playground and of course treating them with a delicious ice cream. Definitely recommended.
