Our guide Miguel picked us up outside our hotel and we instantly knew we were going to have a great day! Miguel is a very experienced mountain guide who shared his love of Monserrat and hiking with us throughout the day. The monastery & church were interesting but the real star of our visit was the mountain itself. Our hike took us up past various small chapels and the views the whole way were spectacular! Miguel let us set the pace of our hike and really took good care of us - even being our photographer and capturing some amazing pictures of us along the way. We really enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing the holy mountain that is so important to the region. If you book this trip, ask for Miguel!

I had a fantastic trip today with Marc in Barcelona, who took me and my friend to Monsarrat for a hike and a visit to the monastery. We really liked Marc and he went out of his way to ensure that the trip was exactly what we wanted. He picked us up from our hotel punctually and looked after us well.
